VFW Post No. 10281 donates to the Duke Brigade

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10281 recently donated to the Duke Brigade and Fort Knox Chapter of the National Infantry Association. The donation was to help support the biannual 3rd Brigade of the 1st Infantry Division Infantry Ball at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville. The ball was held to build morale and comradeship between the soldiers and their supporters before their deployment to Afghanistan. Commander Butch Ferrell presents a $1,000 check to Terry Phillips, accepting for the brigade.
