Vine Grove High School’s class of 1958 celebrated their 50th class reunion on June 27 at Valley View Baptist Church Christian Life Center in Vine Grove.

Thirty-eight of the 68 class members were in attendance. Some classmates came from as far away as Connecticut, Florida, Michigan and Missouri. Others who couldn’t attend sent letters which were shared that evening.

Class members Bill Logsdon and Edgar Carlisle served as masters of ceremony and the evenings program began with Kent Salmon and wife Joyce singing hits from the 1950’s and 60’s.

In remembrance of classmates and teachers who have passed away Joyce Nall Brill lit a candle and read a poem.

The evenings entertainment ended with a musical tribute to Elvis by Verland Hatmaker.
