Work on the Vine Grove water tower off Ky. 1500 is about 30 percent complete.
Mayor Blake Proffitt told city council members April 4 during a monthly meeting that work has begun on the inside and outside of the tower.
The outside work consists of painting the tower light blue with the city’s name in navy blue. Inside work is applying a coating to protect the metal of the water tower and preserve the water’s integrity.
