-A A +A

Submitted by Heartland Chambers Alliance

Here is the vision and mission of the proposed Hardin County Chamber of Commerce:

The Hardin County Chamber of Commerce cultivates and maximizes all resources, serving as a dynamic and effective advocate for the businesses and communities of the region.

The unification of the Elizabethtown, Radcliff, Vine Grove and West Point Chambers of Commerce is a unique opportunity to capitalize on the momentum of our region’s transformation, presently driven by Fort Knox. With a united front, we can wield more focused, effective political influence when dealing with issues that require state and federal legislative or financial assistance.

The Hardin County Chamber of Commerce will:

Serve as a cost-effective one-stop organization for business assistance with tools and resources to support success.

Demonstrate to prospective, new and existing businesses a commitment to streamlined, collaborative support.

Maximize our fiscal, physical, and human resources, creating a model for regional collaboration and growth.

Capitalize on positive momentum and growth, with new talent and resources available in our communities.

Support initiatives that create dynamic communities and enhance quality of life and place, in order to retain and attract current and future generations.

Represent businesses and communities as a powerful, united advocate at state and federal legislative levels.

Provide a variety of expanded networking opportunities.

Offer more opportunities for developing community leaders, advocates and volunteers.

Recognize and promote the value of growth and development in every neighborhood, town and city as each success creates positive impact on the entire region.

Structure an inclusive organization that gives voice to all functions of the communities by crossing geographical boundaries.
