Severe winter weather has caused the American Red Cross to cancel about 1,700 blood drives across Kentucky since January, including about 40 in Hardin County.
Now that the weather is getting warmer, American Red Cross service centers across the nation are working to reschedule drives and restock dwindling blood supplies.
