Weaver speaks to Democratic Woman’s Club

The Hardin County Democratic Woman’s Club held their monthly meeting at Nolin RECC on Feb. 4. The quest speaker was Retired Col. Mike Weaver. Retired Col. Weaver, a former state legislator for Hardin County, hopes to have the last surviving World War II barracks at Fort Knox restored and open in 2013.Weaver, the project manager, spoke to the club about the volunteers and donations that have and still need to happen to complete the project.
