Web analysts don't agree with early poll

While two prominent political Web sites predict Kentucky’s 2nd Congressional District seat likely will remain in Republican hands, a recent independent poll gives Democrat David Boswell a three-point advantage.

State Sen. Boswell of Owensboro leads Sen. Brett Guthrie, R-Bowling Green, 47-44 percent, which is within the 4.3 percent sampling error range.

“It’s always nice to be ahead,” Boswell said.
