Each community carries by 3-to-2 margin

In three separate elections Tuesday, residents of Hardin County's largest communities voted to approve alcohol sales. The measure carried in all 31 precincts.

The local option question, promoted as a tool for continued economic development, was approved by residents of Elizabethtown, Radcliff and Vine Grove by similar 3-to-2 margins. The final vote totals from the county clerk's office are:

Elizabethtown: 3,051 Yes; 2,021 No
Radcliff: 1,567 Yes; 1,025 No
Vine Grove: 475 Yes; 328 No
