Violet Stith and Lisa Adrain went to dinner at a restaurant in Elizabethtown.

RETIREMENT. Liz Coalson is retiring from her beauty shop. She has had her business, Liz’s Beauty Shop in Stephensburg, for more than 40 years. The shop will remain open under the same name. Carla Curtsinger Fenwick will run the shop and will accept new clients. Liz appreciates everyone for their support. Her clients have been like family over these 40 years.

NEW ARRIVAL. Congratulations to Nick and Marsha Thompson on the birth of a daughter, Chloe Nicole, at 7:13 a.m. March 22, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She weighed 9 pounds, 7 ounces and 20½ inches long. Chloe has two brothers, Conner and Logan, and a sister, Sydney. Grandparents are Elnoah and Kathy Gragson of White Mills, Renita Thompson of Elizabethtown and Danny and Linda Thompson of Edmonson County. Great-grandparents are myself and Chester and Delores Sullivan of Priceville.
