APPRECIATION. Katrina Knight appreciates everyone for the wonderful turn out at the auction for her father, David L. Knight, this past Saturday at Upton Community Center. All of the love and prayers from family and friends have helped David and Katrina during this tremendously difficult time. David was very touched by the news of the auction and is “impatiently” waiting to see the video, especially the get-well messages so many were kind enough to add. Katrina never will forget the contribution by the members of Sonora United Methodist Church and Sonora Baptist Church. Lastly, Katrina appreciates the awesome auction crews, those who donated items and State Senator Dennis Parrett.

SYMPATHY. Sympathy to the families of Margie Williams, Irvan Dennis, Roy Brawner and Arnold Simpson.

GET-WELL WISHES. Get-well wishes to Addison Blair, David Knight, David Johnson, Janie Schimmels, Darryl Withers and Margaret Copeland.

ANNIVERSARY. Congratulations to Gene and Dorothy Hill on their 60th wedding anniversary.

VISITS. Ervin and Violet Stith visited Greg and Christy Stith and Devin and Kennedy last week. Danny Stith visited his parents, Ervin and Violet, last weekend.

BIRTHDAY WISHES. Happy belated birthday to John Harned.

CHURCH NEWS. On Jan. 28 at 6 p.m., Unity Baptist Church will have singing featuring the group, Blood Bought. Soup and sandwiches will be served at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
