White Mills man killed in single-vehicle crash

A White Mills man died Friday in a single-vehicle wreck. Mitchell S. Skees Jr., 73, was traveling east on Centerpoint Road just past noon, according to Kentucky State Police, when his vehicle left the right shoulder of the road for an unknown reason. The vehicle then struck a tree.  The Hardin County coroner’s office pronounced Skees dead at the scene.
