Willard Skaggs, 90, of Hodgenville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at his residence.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hodgenville, a lifelong farmer, an avid hunter and sportsman, and a member of the Hardee’s Breakfast Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Perkins Skaggs; a brother, Calvin Skaggs; and his parents, Ike and Nora Etherton Skaggs.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Skaggs Cote of Hodgenville; a son, Larry (Susie) Skaggs of Hodgenville; three grandchildren, Todd (Kim) Skaggs of Shepherdsville, Tarrin (Jeff) Aliff of Florida, and Laura (B.J.) Ward of Hodgenville; and three great-grandchildren, Emerald Skaggs, Layla Ward, and Clay Ward.
The funeral was Tuesday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. George Smith officiating. Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
