Wilson Road from the iconic tank to Lincoln Trail Boulevard in Radcliff closed to traffic Monday and is expected to remain closed until July 3 as part of a realignment, according to Radcliff officials.
Mayor J.J. Duvall said crews have to dig out the road, undercutting it about 12 to 15 inches, and the closure was made for safety reasons.
Work on the road should be completed by early September, according to the city.
