Woman’s Club members visit Fort Knox Soldier and Family Assistance Center

Several members of the Woman’s Club of Elizabethtown recently visited the Fort Knox Soldier and Family Assistance Center on Fort Knox. This unit is for soldiers in transition as they heal to return to duty or transition back into their civilian communities. The staff helps with location information and resources, developing and implanting a plan of action, keeping their expectations realistic and helping access support systems at various locations and levels.

At Christmas time, the Elizabethtown club donated board games for the families to encourage time to spend together within their family units.
