Emergency personnel work the scene of a crash on Springfield Road on Friday in the Elizabethtown area. Madison Greer, of Brandenburg, lost control of her Toyota Tacoma after hitting a slick spot on the road at about 4:30 p.m. Friday, said Greg Lowe, spokesman for the Hardin County Sheriff's Office. Greer's vehicle left the road and went up on embankment, flipping onto its side. The top of her truck had to be removed to free Greer from the vehicle. Greer was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital with back and neck pain, but her injuries weren't life-threatening, Lowe said.
