All Nations Worship Ministries church is hosting a Women's Equality Day today at 5 p.m. at the church, 110 Wiselyn Drive in Radcliff. Four local women will be honored at the event, Edith Dupin, Kendra Stewart, Jo Emary and Jackie Williams. Dorothy Malone, of Emory Chapel AME Church, will be the guest speaker. This is the second year the church has held the event in honor of Women's Equality Day, which is Aug. 26. Made a national holiday by Congress in 1971, it commemorates the anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.
