A long and exhausting day at the Women’s Kentucky State Amateur put Lydia Gumm back in a familiar spot: the final.
The former North Hardin star reached the title match for the third time in the last five years by winning two matches Thursday — 2 and 1 over Kaitlyn Riley and a 20-hole triumph over Ellen Kehoe — at the 5,726-yard Lakeside Golf Course in Lexington.
