All of the people involved in Tuesday afternoon’s two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 31W and Ky. 220 have been identified.
There were five people in one vehicle and one in the other.
A vehicle driven by Lamar Jones, who spent five years on the Radcliff Police force and is a former Muldraugh police chief, collided with a vehicle driven by Amber D. Sharpe, 22, at the intersection.
Sharpe was in a vehicle with Timothy J. Pleasant, 28, in the front seat as well as backseat passengers Tanya M. Pleasant and Timothy J. Pleasant, 6-year-old twins, and Iyanna L. Pleasant, 8.
Iyanna Pleasant was ejected from the backseat of the vehicle. Conditions of anyone in Sharpe’s vehicle were unavailable.
Jones is in University Hospital in Louisville with injuries including broken bones.
Radcliff and Elizabethtown police departments are working the investigation with EPD assisting with the accident reconstruction. RPD responded to the crash at 4:48 p.m.
