Writing contest open to Kentucky authors

Kentucky authors or writers of works about the Bluegrass State or using the commonwealth as its setting have an opportunity for publication by a nonprofit literary press located in Louisville.

Sarabande Books is seeking submissions during July for the Linda Bruckheimer Series in Kentucky Literature. The contest strives to focus on Kentucky literature.

Each year since 2005, Sarabande has awarded publication to one book of short stories, poetry, creative nonfiction, a novella or novellas or a short novel.
