Hardin Fiscal Court recently slammed the door on the idea of a local unified government. Although the city government of Radcliff formally turned up its nose on the idea and Elizabethtown's council held similar opinions, Fiscal Court’s lopsided 7-2 vote really put the kabosh on the idea — for now at least.
