YOUTH BASEBALL: District 10 All-Star pairings set (7/3)

By CHUCK JONES cjones@thenewsenterprise.com The Major League Baseball All-Star game isn’t until July 15, but baseball fans looking to whet their appetite before the big game will be able to do so next week. Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth District 10 All-Star tournaments begin Monday in Elizabethtown, Brandenburg, Clarkson, Leitchfield and Hodgenville. All the tournaments are double elimination. The winner of each tournament besides the 7-year-olds and 8-year-olds advance to the state tournament.
