Skylar Lucas, Dawson Swift and Austin Heideman combined on a shutout as the Elizabethtown Area Baseball Commission 12-year-old All-Stars rolled to a 9-0 win over Blue Lick on Thursday in the West Kentucky Cal Ripken State Tournament at Skyview Park in Jeffersontown.


The trio combined for eight strikeouts as EABC finished 1-1 in pool play. EABC plays Saturday in the first round of the single-elimination against an opponent to be determined.

Conner Thompson had a double and two RBIs for EABC, which was shutout in its first pool play game against Jeffersontown. Swift added a single and two RBIs.



LARUECOUNTY3, HIKES POINT 2 (7 INNINGS). With two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Daniel Snodgrass stole home to lift LaRue County to the win in pool play at the Elizabethtown Sports Park.

Snodgrass also singled, while Bryson Arnette singled and doubled. Brooks Brackett and Evan Morris each had an RBI.

Morris got the win after taking over for Arnette. Morris struck out six in four innings for LaRue County, which plays Grayson County at 5 p.m. today.

EABC RED 16, BLUE LICK 2. Eli Brown, Ty Been, Bryce Pruitt, Camden Williams and Jacob Moberly each had two or more hits as EABC Red cruised past Blue Lick.

Williams doubled, tripled, drove in two runs and scored twice, while Moberly had two singles, two runs and an RBI. Been chipped in with two singles, a run and an RBI and Brown had three singles and a run. Pruitt added two singles and two runs.

Caleb Adams stuck out three while allowing one hit in two innings to earn the win for EABC Red, which plays Scottsville at 7 tonight.



JEFFERSONTOWN11, EABC 3. Jeffersontown breezed to victory in the first pool-play game for both teams at the Sports Park.

Adam Hobbs doubled, drove in two runs and scored a run for EABC, while Ryder Gregory added two singles and a run.

Cyrus Lewis singled twice, and Andrew Dawson had a single and a run. Jackson Clark, Jason Towell, Jordan Price, Hendrix Thomas and Kaden Williams each had a single.

EABC plays Edmonson County at 3 p.m. today in pool play.



EABC 20, EAST LOUISVILLE 4. Leading 6-4, EABC blew the game open with seven runs in the fourth and fifth innings at Okolona.

Christopher Garcia led the way with two singles, two runs and three RBIs, while Camden Cox singled, tripled, drove in two runs and scored three times. Lucas Thompson added two singles, two runs and two RBIs.

Sander Lucas, Carter Moberly, Zakery Spurrier, Tucker Walters, Gavan Young and Nolan Maggard each had two hits for EABC, which finished with 20 hits.



SOUTH HARDIN 6, NORTH LAUREL 5. Sydney Clark had three singles and two RBIs, helping South Hardin hold off North Laurel in the Little League Kentucky State Tournament.

Eleecia Hager added two singles, two runs and an RBI, while Kelsey Brangers singled, scored twice and drove in a run.

Angel Ashlock struck out five in six innings while allowing four hits and one walk.
