Central Kentucky Com­munity Foundation re­cently highlighted its collaboration with other entities for the betterment of the 10-county region it serves in celebration of Community Foundation Week. The foundation, its staff, board members, donors and supporters embodied its motto, “Let’s do some good today” by serving at other nonprofits to support them in their mission in the region.

On Nov. 12, donors, community partners and board members volunteered their time and talents at the Carl M. Bra­shear Radcliff Veterans Center in Radcliff honoring those who served our nation. CKCF staff supported the Lincoln Museum in Hodgenville On Nov. 13 by helping its volunteers decorate for the holidays.

On Nov. 14, CKCF celebrated with its business partners at the Hardin County Chamber of Com­merce luncheon. On Nov. 15, the foundation honored its roots in education by providing support to scholarship recipients with care packages. On Nov. 15, the foundation joined other philanthropic organizations to collectively celebrate National Philanthropy Day at the annual luncheon in Louisville.
