Laine Gaddie was awarded the Hardin County Principal Organization Scholarship from the Central Kentucky Community Foundation.
Gaddie is a 2019 graduate of Central Hardin High School and plans to attend the University of the Cumberlands to study elementary education. She is the daughter of Jeff and Melissa Gaddie.
The Hardin County Principal Organization Scholarship was established this year by the organization, an informal network for school principals to support each other both professionally and personally throughout the school year. The $500 scholarship supports the dedication and commitment to a Hardin County graduate planning a future as an education professional.
The Hardin County Principal Organization Scholarship is one of 113 scholarships being awarded by community foundation this year through Scholarship Central. The scholarships total nearly $286,000 and were awarded to 94 students from 13 high schools and two colleges in the region.
