This summer, Kaitlynn Manson of Rineyville will join outstanding high school students from across the nation to take part in a unique academic development experience, the National Youth Leadership Forum: Medicine, on the campus of Emory University.
NYLF Medicine is one of the Envision family of programs that enable students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.
Manson was nominated to attend the forum. She earned a 4.0 GPA for all four years of high school, an academic diploma and attended Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and completed 25 credit hours. Manson danced for eight years at the Dance Centre of Elizabethtown, she enjoyed singing in the John Hardin High School choir and performing in plays. She received a $100,000 scholarship from Bellarmine University and will attend there in the fall to pursue a career in nursing.
