    The groom is the son of Jennifer Stinson of Louisville and Brian (Shelia) Stinson of Sonora.

    The bride was given in marriage by her father.

    Matron of honor was Natalie Vittitow Spalding of Lexington, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Russell and Sarah Stinson, sister of the groom.

    The Hardin County Fair will celebrate 50 years within the community this July. To mark this occasion, the Hardin County Fair Board and Pageant Committee invites all past Miss Hardin County Fair winners to be present for a special recognition during the Miss Hardin County Fair Pageant on July 8.

    Ed Cardiff, treasurer of the Optimist Club of Radcliff, presents guest speaker Lori Jury with a certificate of appreciation. Jury, the recreation director for the city of Radcliff, spoke to the club about activities available to youth in the community, to include swim lessons, upcoming lifeguard training, the ball parks, Saunders Springs Nature preserve and more.

    Carina Tiotuico, of Elizabethtown, received the 2013 Outstanding Teaching Award at the 15th Annual Morehead State University Piano Festival and Monster Concert. Each year, one piano teacher is recognized based on the level of preparedness, talent and professionalism of their students in both ensemble and solo genres.

    As some of you may know, I babysit during the day. The other day, the 2 year old that I watch kept going to my husband Kenny and saying, “My Tenny, My Tenny.” Kenny was just eating up the fact she was claiming him as her own at least until she started saying, “My Joshua, my Terri, my kitty cat, my toys etc.” Two year olds sure can build you up and then tear you down in the same breath.
