The Miss Hardin County Fair Pageant will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 6 on opening night of the Hardin County Fair. Miss Hardin County Fair 2014 and Miss Kentucky County Fair 2015, Bria Hays will crown this year’s winner.
Thirteen young ladies are competing for this year’s title. They include:
Kale and Axton Masterson of Lexington announce the birth of a brother, Wyn Edan on
June 22, 2015. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Parent are B.J. and Spring Masterson of Lexington.
Grandparents are Debbie and Rodney Sharp of Glendale, Joe and Janice Masterson of Elizabethtown and Jeffrey and Avanda Rainey of Danville.
Jeffrey and Phyllis Richardson of Big Clifty will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary July 11, 2015.
They were married July 11, 1975, at West Main Church of Christ in Leitchfield.
Mr. Richardson is employed at Altec and farms in his spare time.
Mrs. Richardson is the office manager at Lakewood Elementary School.
Commander Teague R. Laguens relieved Commander Matt L. Boren as the commanding officer of the Swamp Foxes of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron Seven Four at a change of command ceremony May 1, at Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida.
Laguens, a native of Kentucky, attended North Hardin High School.
Christopher Tate of Washington, D.C., formerly of Rineyville, and Anthony Piaskowy of Washington, D.C., formerly Goshen, Indiana, were married July 2, 2015, at the Wonder Bread Factory in Washington, D.C.
The Miss Teen Hardin County Fair 2015 pageant is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hardin County Fairgrounds. The pageant has five contestants vying for the title. Miss Teen Hardin County Fair 2014, Alivia Cunningham, will crown this year’s winner.
