It seems the Christmas shopping season started off exceedingly well, with the amount of sales reported for the Black Friday so-called bargains. Tempting additions to those plastic cards, more than many could afford, for with today’s prices one can create an enormous bill very quickly. I use mine as a convenience and sometimes as a safety measure. But I always make sure I can pay off the bill when I receive it. I don’t wish to pay those credit card interest rates.

Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone. I ate way too much and thoroughly enjoyed getting to be with my in-laws early and my family later in the day. The weather was not nearly as bad as was feared and I spent a wonderful weekend shopping with my family. The older I get, the more thankful that I am for the time that I get to spend with family. I hope all of you also had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
