KENTUCKYWEATHER. Hmmm snow flurries, a little sleet in October? Yes, some areas in Kentucky got some week before last. We also got some rain and a few thunderstorms. My goodness we live in a mixed up weather state.

I have noticed the colorful leaves more on the trees but they aren’t staying on the branches very long.

TIME CHANGE. Did you remember to set your clock back 1 hour? We are now on what some of us call “slow time.” Shorter daylight hours, longer nights.

Hello friends, I hope everyone is doing well. Man this weather is really doing a number for October. One day warm, then windy, cold, fog, then the rain, I hate to think what’s next.

Hope everyone had a great week. For those who work outside, I’m sure the cooler days are welcomed. Thanksgiving is just around the corner, the time of year we give thanks for all the blessings of a bountiful harvest. It seemed to me we had a good crop year, a few dry periods, mostly later in the season, which possibly reduced the yield of soybeans.
