KENTUCKY WEATHER. It’s still mixed up, cold one day and warm the next. Making it hard on the allergies already. Also, I hear the flu still is hanging around. I had my shot and so far I’ve been good.

I’ve noticed spring flowers are popping up through the ground out at dad’s house. That’s usually a sign that warmer days soon are ahead.

For the first time in my life, I picked a bouquet of jonquils, Easter flowers, this Tuesday morning in February. I had been hearing about others seeing the Easter flowers in bloom, but I hadn’t been on the end of our house, where ours were growing, so I imagine they had been in bloom perhaps for several days. Others hadn’t opened yet. This has been an odd year.
