Hello, I hope this week has been a good one for all. There has been a lot going on.

I have talked with Debbie Butler and she was excited to share with me that as most people know, most of her family is not from here. She wanted to have a campout and cookout and just had a hard time finding the right time to plan it. Trying to gather a large family together this day and time is hard to do. But she set her date for Oct. 6, invited about 51 people and 26 showed came and nine stayed and camped out.

The cooler weather, the frost in the morning, the changing colors of the trees and the political ads, all let us know that autumn is here. But it’s ok, because in just a few more weeks the weather will be much colder, we’ll probably have snow, the trees will be bare and finally, wonderfully, the elections will be over. Be sure to vote.

Fall weather definitely is here. Cooler temperatures, leaves color change and falling to the ground and also some rain. Have you picked out your pumpkin yet for Halloween? Mom, Jamilee, Greg and me went to pumpkin farms Oct. 12 and 13. Mom and Jamilee have started painting pumpkins. Jamilee picked out a big pumpkin to carve. Halloween is a favorite holiday for our family. I have special memories of trick-or-treating. Some costumes I wore were a chef, a ghost and a witch are some that come to my mind.
