The annual Vine Grove High School Alumni Reunion was June 25. Classmates began gathering as early as 10 a.m. at J.T. Alton Middle School for the noon “picnic” style lunch. The reunion “picnic” began under shade trees several years ago, before J.T. Alton Middle School was built.

Elizabethtown Lions Club President Brian Dennis, right, presents Amy Scott, administrative secretary at Pritchard Community Center, a donation from the club in support of Elizabethtown youth baseball, football and soccer programs. The Lions Club motto is “We serve,”  and the club serves youth by supporting these programs.

Elizabethtown Lions Club President Brian Dennis presented a donation for Lincoln Trail Red Cross to Teresa Shannon, health and safety assistant director. Shannon ask the community to be aware, because of this year’s disaster, the Red Cross is in dire need of funding. Blood donors also are needed and greatly appreciated.
