The following are results from Grayson County Walking Horse Show held June 25 at Grayson County Ag. and Rec. Park in Leitchfield.
Class 1 — Stick Horse: Michael Dunn, Maggie Dunn, Madison Dunn, Mackenzie Stillwell, Robby Stannard, Riley Shartzer, Jacob Shartzer all received first-place trophies donated by Dr. and Mrs. Victor Duvall.
Class 2 — Lead Line: first, Mackenzie Sillwell, Elizabethtown.
Class 4 — Youth Walking Specialty: first, Preston Hicks, Paducah; and second, Emily Graves, Bell Buckle, Tenn.

Virgil Ray and Mary Ellen McCorkle Ray of Rineyville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 20, 2011.

The Rays were married June 20, 1951 at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove by the Rev. Joe Diemert.

Mr. Ray retired from the carpenters union in 1983 after building many prominent buildings in Louisville. He suffered a massive stroke and resides at North Hardin Nursing and Convalescent Center in Radcliff.

Mrs. Ray is a stay at home mother and lives in the original home they built in Rineyville.

Jimmie and Carolyn Cox of Rineyville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today, June 30, 2011. They were married June 30, 1961, at the Church of God of Prophecy by the Rev. Bonnie Barns.
They have three sons, Timmie, Ricky and Shannon Cox; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
They will celebrate with an intimate dinner and road trip.
