    The bride is the daughter of Carmen Cochran-Krissinger of Radcliff and the late Duane M. Cochran Jr.

    The groom is the son of Kevin and Lois Parsons of Hudson, N.H.

    The bride was given in marriage by Robert Lazrovitch and her mother.

    Maid of honor was June Vasquez and bridesmaid was Kareesha Campbelle. Flower girl was Alaina Parsons.

  • Warm Blessings prepares for Cardboard Nation

     

    Warm Blessings will sponsor the sixth annual Cardboard Nation fundraiser and awareness event at the Fire Training Station on the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College campus each third Friday night in September. The event draws awareness to issues of poverty and homelessness, and proceeds support the services Warm Blessings Soup Kitchen provides.

    INGRAM. Army Private Craig T. Ingram has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. A 2008 graduate of John Hardin High School, he is the son of Robert and Yolanda Ingram of Rineyville.

    SAMUEL. Army Private 1st Class Xavier R. Samuel has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. A 2011 graduate of Fort Knox High School, he is the son of Beulah Hammock of Fort Mitchell, Ala.

    Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10281 Commander Butch Ferrell, left, presents a check for $200 to Chief Warrant Officer 3 Jeff Neukirch to benefit the U.S. Army Warrant Officers Association Chapter to support its second annual golf scramble, the 2013 USA WOA Fort Knox Derby Chapter Golf Scramble. Proceeds from the event will help support soldiers, their families and surrounding communities. The event is Sept. 20 at Heartland Golf Club, with check-in at noon, lunch at 12:30 p.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
