The heat is back with us. If working out, do be careful you don’t get overheated. Be sure to drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks. We had an appointment in Elizabethtown Monday afternoon, and the heat was practically unbearable going to and from the car, to where we needed to go. At one of the grocery stores, there were some men on a platform working on the sunny side of this brick building. I hardly can understand how they stood it. I know we sort of get adjusted to things, but that seems beyond adjusting to.

We finally got some of the rain we needed. Hopefully there is more on the way, although it will be too late for some gardens. The pumpkins that are a big part of fall will need it.
School starts next week for Hardin County Schools. The kids are not ready to go back and I am sure all the parents are not finished back to school shopping. The summer seems to have flown by this year.
