Happy Mother’s Day.

APRIL ENDS. The month of April ended with terrible weather: more rain, thunderstorms with tornadoes in the county and other states. It’s sad to watch all the damage on the news. May already has given us lots of rain. We should have lots of May flowers.

Robin Monroe of Vine Grove announces the birth of her son, Jeffrey Dale Prather, on Oct. 24, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20½ inches long.

The baby’s father is Jeff Prather of Vine Grove.

Grandparents are Joe and Barbara Monroe of Ekron and Steve Prather and Tammy Harper, both of Elizabethtown. Great-grandparents are Joe and Betty Jo Monroe and Rene Prather, all of Vine Grove, and Bill and Bertha Parrot of Glendale.

Brian and Shelee Clark of Cecilia announce the birth of a son, Jonathon Alexander Clark on March 28, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

He has a brother named Adam.

Maternal grandparents are Ron and Debbie Marr of Elizabethtown and paternal grandparents are Larry and Mary Clark of Cecilia.

Dr. Bill and Sheri Langley of Elizabethtown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rachel Lyn Langley, of Elizabethtown, to Philip Julian Maucieri Jr., of Elizabethtown.

The bride-to-be attends the University of Louisville with a major in art and an emphasis in photography. She is a photographer.
