  • McGees welcome Priscilla Lynn

    Greg and Alisha Brewer McGee of Elizabethtown announce the birth of a daughter, Priscilla Lynn McGee, on June 21, 2013. She weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 18½ inches long.

    Grandparents are Victor and Ella Phillips of Whitley City and Randy and Dottie McGee of Lexington.

    Great-grandparents are John and Joyce Lawson of Whitley City and Ray and Freda Phillips of Stearns.

    Geneva Caswell Miller of Clarkson celebrated her 84th birthday Aug. 9, 2013 with five generations, her daughter, Shirley Miller, her granddaughter, Denise Wyman, her great-granddaughter, Brittany Dennis and her great-great-grandchildren, Beckham and Brooklyn Dennis.

  • Johnsons celebrate 40th anniversary

    C.W. and Edna Jones Johnson of Radcliff will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Sept. 2, 2013.

    They were married Sept. 2, 1973, at Piney Grove Baptist Chapel Church in Angier, N.C., by the Rev. Ervin Stevens.

    Mr. Johnson is a retired U.S. government fuel handler from Fort Knox.

    Mrs. Johnson is a retired U.S. government family housing manager from Fort Knox.

    They are both members of Rineyville Baptist Church.

    Fred Osborne and Penny Key Osborne of Elizabethtown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their son, William Osborne of Louisville, to Sara Krebs of Louisville, daughter of Mark and Susan Krebs of Louisville.

    The bride-to-be earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior architecture. She is an interior designer.

    The prospective groom earned a master’s degree in agricultural economics. He is a student.

    The wedding is Sept. 7, 2013, at Huber’s Orchard and Winery.
