  • Radcliff Woman’s Club members gather for April meeting

Members of the Radcliff Woman’s Club met April 8 with conservation in mind.

The main attraction for the meeting was a special presentation by Bonnie Gunter of the Potted Few Garden Club. As she spoke to the group, Gunter created an herb salad and explained that the components of the dish were vegetables and herbs, which are easily grown in one’s garden or in one’s own flower pot. Rather than spending gas and energy running to the market, items can be grown in one’s own backyard.

  • Woman’s Club members donate books

As some of you may know, I babysit during the day. The other day, the 2 year old that I watch kept going to my husband Kenny and saying, “My Tenny, My Tenny.” Kenny was just eating up the fact she was claiming him as her own at least until she started saying, “My Joshua, my Terri, my kitty cat, my toys etc.” Two year olds sure can build you up and then tear you down in the same breath.
