• Roos speaks to Radcliff Rotary Club members

    Guest speaker at a recent Radcliff Rotary Club meeting was Devin Roos, community relations and development manager for the Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Her presentation made club members aware of the surprising statistics concerning this disease and it’s impact on people worldwide.   • Radcliff Woman’s Club members participate in community yard sale

    The Radcliff Woman’s Club took part in the Radcliff Community Yard Sale on Aug. 27 in the Radcliff City Hall parking lot.
    Members who helped man the booth at various times were Becky Brecht, Kathy Eubans, Barb Hayes, Pat Nuccitelli, Mary Haddix, Sheila Enyart, Emma Rosenkrantz, Maria Batistoni, Carlo Triplett, Patricia Crosby and Florence Mason.  On sale were miscellaneous items to include books, pictures, tablecloths, rugs, glasses, dishes and bookends. Coordinator of the yard sale was Becky Brecht.

    Ruby Campbell and Chester “Fuzz” Gray of White Mills will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their vows and a reception at 7 p.m., Sept. 9, 2011, at Pritchard Community Center.

    They were married Sept. 7, 1961, in Celina, Tenn.

    Mr. Gray is retired from auto sales.

    Mrs. Gray is retired from Gates Rubber Co. and is employed at Stone Hearth Restaurant.

    They have two children, Tim Gray of Elizabethtown and Tracy Carby of Stephensburg; and three grandchildren.
