    Rosonna “Sonnie” Bow of White Mills and Kerry Reeves of Clarkson announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

    The bride-to-be is the mother of Braedon, Cameron, Landon and Jaidyn, and she is the daughter of Howard and Linda Miller. She is a sales associate at JC Penney.

    The prospective groom is retired from Hardin County Schools.

    The wedding is at 3 p.m. EST March 3, 2012, at White Mills Baptist Church.

  • Ovitt — Mahoney

    Peter and Linda Ovitt of Indian Lake, N.Y., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Erica Lynn Ovitt, to Andrew Charles Mahoney of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., son of Patricia Mahoney of Indian Lake.

    The bride-to-be is working on her doctorate in physical therapy at Sage Graduate School.

    The prospective groom is a 2009 graduate of Cazenovia College with a bachelor’s degree. He is employed in Saratoga Springs.

    A summer 2012 wedding is planned.

    Miguel and Gisela Rivera of Elizabethtown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Vanessa B. Rivera, to Matthew S. Huff, son of Debrah Lilly-Smith of Hopkinsville and Bobby and Amy Huff of Owensboro. 

    The bride-to-be graduated from McKendree University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in human resources and she is enrolled in a master degree program at McKendree University. She is a customer service representative at Cardinal Health.

    Lindsay Rhea Bennett and Michael Jarrod Fohl, both of Elizabethtown, were married Nov.5, 2011, at Camp Carlson in Muldraugh.

    The bride is the daughter of Sherman Bennett of Cecilia and Karen Bennett of Vine Grove.

    The groom is the son of Larry and Donna Fohl of Elizabethtown.

    The couple reside in Elizabethtown.

    Michelle Hilary Bewley and Sonnie Antoine Elliott of Elizabethtown were married by Father Dan Lincoln on Dec. 3, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

    The bride is the daughter of Cathy Yates of Rineyville and Michael Bewley of Danville.

    The groom is the son of Rosie Elliott of Radcliff and Sam Smith of Shaw, Miss. 

    The bride was given in marriage by her father.

  • Parents welcome Santino Noel

    Naomi-Nicole M. and Michael G. Lupacchino of Fayetteville, N.C., announce the birth of a son, Santino Noel Lupacchino, on Feb. 14, 2012, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20¾ inches long.

    Maternal grandparents are Audrey R. Jacques and Noel E. Helm. Paternal grandparents are Sonia G. Barber and Michael A. Lupacchino.

    Great-grandparents are Marian A. Keenan and David G. Hofer and Ginette Y. Helm and James R. Helm.

  • Parents welcome Camden Reed

    Jason Logsdon and Lori Powell of Irvington announce the birth of a son, Camden Reed Logsdon, on Dec. 14, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He weighed 4 pounds, 14 ounces and was 16.5 inches long.

    He has a brother, Isaiah Powell; and a sister, Sydney Logsdon.

    Maternal grandparents are Lora and Scott Carter of Irvington and the late Richard Powell. Paternal grandparents are Mary Logsdon of Millerstown and the late Jerry Logsdon.

    Great-grandparents are Norma West and the late Elroy West and the late Gilbert and Nellie Logsdon.

  • Woman's Club members attend Breakfast at Atria

    Woman’s Club of Elizabethtown members recently attended breakfast at Atria in support of Heart Health month. Healthy heart issues were discussed and information was shared as to better eating choices and exercise habits. Also, signs of heart attack and strokes were given as well as treatments.   • Wesley Hilltop Seniors celebrate Valentine's Day

    On Feb. 16, the seniors at Wesley Hilltop had a Valentine party. They ordered food from Kentucky Fried Chicken and everyone had a wonderful meal and fellowship.
