Hope everyone had a great week, I have been enjoying the summer weather. My son Wayne brought us some squash from his garden the other morning. What a delight to have fresh vegetables. I fried some and fixed a small one to eat raw with a sandwich one day for lunch. Those were the yellow squash, I haven’t tried any of the zucchini yet.
BACK HOME. Ruby Parker returned home last week after an extended visit with her daughter in Georgetown. After falling and breaking her wrist several months ago.

What a great week I have been having. I have been at First Baptist Church of Eastview every night for vacation Bible school. The youth I work with from Christian Youth in Action have been teaching and doing a wonderful job. The kids are having so much fun and learning so much about the Bible. It ends tomorrow, Thursday, and I will be sad to see it end. It has been amazing being with Brother Scott Curle and all of the folks from the church.  Thanks to Michelle Hart for arranging it all and allowing us to come and teach.
