  • The following marriage dissolutions have been granted in Hardin Circuit Court.

    Clifford Wayne Whitehall, 40, of Lebanon Junction and Marsena Gail Higgs, 46, of Lebanon Junction. Married 12 years.

    Wade Sodowsky, 35, of Elizabethtown and Melissa J. Love, 36, of Elizabethtown. Married four years.

  • For six days, nearby Bardstown will provide the nationally known Kentucky Bourbon Festival.

    The festival begins Tuesday and continues through Sept. 21.

    Some of the featured events are a balloon glow, arts and crafts and tours. The week celebrates the heritage and history of bourbon in Kentucky.

  • This Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the streets of downtown Elizabethtown will be decorated in a variety of colors during the Via Colori street painting festival.

    The festival also includes two stages full of music and entertainment throughout the day.
