I hope all of you ladies had a wonderful Mother’s Day.  I did.  We went to Cincinnati to visit my mom.  She has Parkinson’s Disease so every moment  I get to spend with her is a blessing.  The bad thing about having family living so far apart is we didn’t get to spend Mother’s Day with my mother-in-law, Nora Belle Spencer.  So I want to take this opportunity to tell her how much we love her and how much we appreciate everything she has done for us.

The hot weather is here, along with the storms. I enjoy a good storm as long as it doesn’t damage anything. The gardens need the rain.
