Music provided Sipan Hassan a path from Zawita, Iraq, to Radcliff. Now, the former Kurdish interpreter hopes music continues to pave that road all the way to the west coast.
“My big goal is how to get into the music industry and Hollywood,” the 36-year-old said.
Before the capture of Saddam Hussein, Hassan was living in Iraq and had composed a rap song called “Join the Game,” which urged the capture of the deposed Iraqui dictator. U.S. troops liked the song.
