  • Mike and Shelia Lewis of Elizabethtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Lewis of Lexington, to Nathan Bay of Lexington, son of Ken and Sharon Bay of Pickerington, Ohio.

    The bride-to-be is a graduate of Transylvania University and is a mortgage loan originator.

    The prospective groom is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and is a Kentucky Colonel. He also is a mortgage loan originator.

    The wedding is at 4 p.m. June 23, 2013, in Key West, Fla. A reception will follow this summer in Lexington.

    Zachary Quintin Hayslip (1976). Theft by deception (two counts). Sixty days in jai probated for two years on conditions in the order. Total $240.

    Mercedes L. Goldsmith (1990). Theft by unlawful taking. Sixty days in jail probated for two years on conditions in the order. Total $285.

  • The General Federation of Woman’s Club members have worked all year to raise money for contributions to community organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana and Youth Theatre of Hardin County.

  • Three of Louisville’s “Museum Row on Main” attractions are participating in Blue Star Museums, a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and more than 1,500 museums across America to offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families through Labor Day.
