    VISITS. Last weekend visitors of Ervin and Violet Stith were Lisa, Ian, Brody and Darby McDonald, Angel Stith, Danny Stith and Greg, Christy, Devin, Kennedy and Olivia Stith. Also Donnie Stith recently visited them.

    Marjorie Riggs visited with Kathy and me last Saturday.

    We still are having the most unusual weather for this time of the year that I can remember. One year, many years ago, I remember the temperature being 70 or more one day in February, but I can’t remember as to what the rest of the winter was like.

    The bride-to-be is the mother of Braedon, Cameron, Landon and Jaidyn, and she is the daughter of Howard and Linda Miller. She is a sales associate at JC Penney.

    The prospective groom is retired from Hardin County Schools.

    The wedding is at 3 p.m. EST March 3, 2012, at White Mills Baptist Church.

    All friends and relatives are invited to attend. No formal invitations will be sent.

  • Peter and Linda Ovitt of Indian Lake, N.Y., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Erica Lynn Ovitt, to Andrew Charles Mahoney of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., son of Patricia Mahoney of Indian Lake.

    The bride-to-be is working on her doctorate in physical therapy at Sage Graduate School.

    The prospective groom is a 2009 graduate of Cazenovia College with a bachelor’s degree. He is employed in Saratoga Springs.

    A summer 2012 wedding is planned.
