    Hello friends. As always, I hope everyone is doing well. To begin with, I want to share with you all that Shanna Lucas Stephens and her husband Robert Stephens have become parents to a little boy they have name Walker Dale Stephens. His grandparents are Debbie Yates Lucas of Cecilia and David Lucas of Leitchfield and a special Aunt April Lucas of Cecilia. Shanna and my son, Alex, went to school together and well grandma and I go way back. I know Walker has a good mom and dad, but look out grandma will spoil him rotten.

  • Chaplain Capt. Michael McCawley, center, spoke to the Optimist Club of Radcliff about his work at the Fort Knox Warrior Transition Battalion and was presented with a certificate of appreciation by the club for his dedication to the welfare of the community. The Fort Knox Warrior Transition Battalion provides leadership, complex case management, and primary care to enable wounded, injured, and ill soldiers to return to the fight or successfully transition to civilian life as a veteran. He is pictured with Sara McCawley, left, and club president Jackie Banks.

  • GINDER. Air Force Airman 1st Class Christopher J. Ginder graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio. A 2008 graduate of North Hardin High School, he is the son of Christopher and Myra Ginder of Radcliff.

  • DAVIS. Marine Corps Pvt. Mitchell F. Davis, son of Sarah Wilson of Bowling Green and Frank E. Davis of Hodgenville, earned the title of U.S. Marine after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island, S.C.  He is a 2012 graduate of Warren Central High School in Bowling Green.
