    Clifford Wayne Whitehall, 40, of Lebanon Junction and Marsena Gail Higgs, 46, of Lebanon Junction. Married 12 years.

    Wade Sodowsky, 35, of Elizabethtown and Melissa J. Love, 36, of Elizabethtown. Married four years.

  • If you are itching for an adventure, the Historic State Theater has just the weekend for you.

    The Indiana Jones trilogy starring Harrison Ford will be shown this weekend for thrill-seeking audiences who are fans of the man in the brown fedora.

  • If you are a widow or widower or just live alone, it must be difficult to prepare meals.

  • For six days, nearby Bardstown will provide the nationally known Kentucky Bourbon Festival.

    The festival begins Tuesday and continues through Sept. 21.

    Some of the featured events are a balloon glow, arts and crafts and tours. The week celebrates the heritage and history of bourbon in Kentucky.

  • This Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the streets of downtown Elizabethtown will be decorated in a variety of colors during the Via Colori street painting festival.

    The festival also includes two stages full of music and entertainment throughout the day.

  • A table of 11 AGC Automotive employees dressed in light blue shirts and navy blue pants talked and sipped beer on a Thursday night as music drifted from a nearby stage and the murmur of conversation and laughter from visitors filled Cunningham Garden behind the Brown-Pusey House.

  • Eating healthy isn’t always fun and is difficult to do when you are doing it all on your own.

    In an attempt to eat healthier, a group of friends decided to have a smoothie night. I’m not sure if we are getting healthier but it makes trying fun.

    Armed with a variety of fruits and five blenders, we took on the task of making many smoothies to taste test.
