Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits and Speedway have closed for business along Dixie Highway in Radcliff.

Bojangles' officially closed Sunday and building signs were being stripped off the structure this morning.

Speedway has an outside sign saying the store is closed as stock in the store was being removed from shelves today.

"It just sucks,'' Radcliff Mayor J.J. Duvall said. "You get two or three things going and then you lose some things ... ultimately these are business decisions and companies have their reasons for closing.''

He said he is hopeful another restaurant or business would locate at Bojangles, which has been open about two years.

Duvall also said he expects a new business to locate at the Speedway site at some point.

"Hopefully within the next few months,'' he said.
