Rising water from weekend rain has forced county official to close Lower Colesburg Road and Miller Road, according to Hardin County Emergency Management Director Bryce Shumate.

He said Rolling Fork River is backing up forcing water over lower parts of Miller Road and the lowest part of Lower Colesburg Road.

The river is expected to crest Wednesday and then fall rapidly the following two days, Shumate said.
